Mr. Nash has been practicing law in Southern California since 1977.  He specializes in four principal areas of law:  (1) representing nonprofit organizations from the initial formation stage, to obtaining tax exempt status, and counseling organizations on an ongoing basis concerning operating issues, from fund raising, UBIT, employment, contract and other issues; (2) representing closely-held, for-profit businesses with regard to formation, operating, financing, sale, merger and acquisition transactions; (3) providing estate planning services for high net worth individuals, including sophisticated charitable giving techniques, and has represented many hundreds of elders and their families in conservatorship matters and trust litigation; and (4) representing both individuals in Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy cases; and closely held businesses in Chapter 7  cases to manage collections and application of liquidation proceeds in a manner most beneficial to the owners, or in Chapter 11 cases primarily involving the sale of assets and assumption or rejection of executory contracts.  Mr. Nash will handle a limited number of commercial business litigation matters from time-to-time.
